By using MaktoobConnect, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Purpose

MaktoobConnect is a halal matrimonial platform designed exclusively for Muslims seeking marriage. This is NOT a dating app. Users must be sincere in their intention to find a spouse for nikah (marriage).

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old
• You must be a Muslim seeking marriage
• You must provide truthful and accurate information
• You must not already be in a haram relationship

3. Account Rules

• One account per person only
• You are responsible for your account security
• Do not share your login credentials
• Impersonation or fake profiles will result in permanent ban

4. Conduct

Users must:

• Be respectful and maintain Islamic adab at all times
• Not send inappropriate, sexual, or harassing messages
• Not request personal contact details before appropriate time
• Not use the platform for any non-marriage purposes

5. Chat System

Chat is only available after mutual acceptance. Both parties must agree before any conversation begins. This protects all users, especially sisters, from unwanted contact.

6. Payments & Subscriptions

• Free registration is available to everyone
• Standard subscription: £1/month or £12/year (auto-renews)
• VIP Concierge: £99 one-time payment
• Payments are processed securely via Stripe
• Subscriptions can be cancelled anytime from your dashboard
• No refunds for partial months or VIP payments

7. Profile Moderation

All profiles are reviewed to maintain quality and safety. We reserve the right to suspend or remove any profile that violates our guidelines without notice.

8. Limitation of Liability

MaktoobConnect facilitates introductions but does not guarantee marriage. We are not responsible for the actions, behaviour, or truthfulness of other users. Always exercise caution and involve your family (wali) in the process.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time if you violate these terms. You may also delete your account at any time by contacting support.
